have you considered using a quickspool valve?
It has the same effect as putting your thumb over the end of a hose.....builds boost fast at low RPM.
Big turbo with a quickspool valve is aa killer combo!

No need for a quickspool on my setup, it will spool quicker then an 20g or a gt2871. Borgewarners wheel aero technology allows a bigger turbine wheel without too much extra lag and their extended tip compressor wheel helps in that department also.To help with spool I also have a custom turbine housing
with a .48 a/r. Its a lot of extra work going this route , but the benefits of properly matching your turbo to the engine size and rpm range is well worth it .
If I was going top mount and 800 whp, a quickspool would be on my car though

flange arrived, off to the welder tommorrow. At the mercy of the welder though, 5 days to 2 week wait. whoever thought this one little part could cause such a delay
Going to test fit everything for clearance and fitment tonight on my spare motor, NO MORE DELAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anti-seized and torqued down everything, fitment is good, the only thing I can't check is if the return oil line I had made will clear the motor mount; Have to wait until I get it in and pray to the horsepower gods it will.
