Default Spark plug gaps

I'm curious whether anybody has checked their spark plug gaps. I read on the .com site about ppl getting their cars from the dealerships with too small of spark plug gaps.

I didn't see that anywhere. Was that for the 3.8 or the 2.slow?

I never checked my Gen but I always check them on my bikes and they usually are a bit tight, although not by much. I just bend them to spec.

From what I've read a lot of them are off spec on their gap.. I had to adjust mine but it wasn't bad though

From what Ive read Hyundai recommends the spark plugs at .0394”-.0433”

Mine I put to .040 from .029!! Making better gas mileage (about 1-3MPG more) and probably more power (nothing noticeable)
