Default Onboard statistics 2010

I always suspected that they're bugs with the statistics the GenCoupe has built in, but today I know it does. 99.9 L per 100 km

That's not a fault at all.

It's taking an average fuel mileage reading starting from the first time the vehicle moves from the point when the economy meter is reset. Idling is also calculated into average fuel mileage readings. If from point A to point B (say from home to the grocery store) your average fuel mileage is 10.0L/100km, point B to C (grocery store to the gym) it's 9.5L/100km, and at point C you idle for 20 minutes, your average fuel mileage isn't going to be 9.8L/100km. It's going to be somewhere like 16.0L/100km +. Because it's still averaging the amount of fuel being burned.

This makes sense, because imagine if that feature weren't there and you filled up your tank of gas and then drove 100km on the highway and averaged 7.5L/100km. When you reached your destination, you somehow forgot to turn off your key because you were way too excited to be where you were (lol) and left the engine running for 30 hours and drained the whole tank. It wouldn't really make sense for your fuel mileage to still be at 7.5L/100km, or else you'd be calling the dealership lol.

Mine is sitting at 99.9 now and will be until spring! I filled my tank a few weeks ago and drove back to my garage in the snow and it was around 76 or so. Now after running it a few times since has put it up to 99.9.

I have not reset my economy meter in over a year now. That's why I said their is a bug in it.
